Joker Wild is played with 53 cards made up of a standard 52 card deck and 1 Joker card.

The Joker acts a Wild card that can replace any card to give you the best possible hand.

Having a Joker enables the possibilty of getting 5 of Kind. Not something you will be hitting very often. The main benfits come because you’ll find it easier to make more straights and flushes.

The minimum pay out is for a pair of Kings for which you get paid 1 coin. There are other variations of this video poker game with Joker Wild Aces or Better and also Joker Wild Two Pair or Better.

Earlier I noted that some people prefer to play wild games exclusively. Here’s what can go wrong if you jump back and forth between wild and basic. You play Jacks or Better for two hours. Then you decide to try Joker Poker. You’re dealt a hand which contains nothing except one face card-a Queen. You hold the Queen. Wrong! It takes Kings or Better to win. You are no longer playing the basic game. You must change your thinking and your strategy.

Joker Wild Strategy Strategy Tips:

The table assumes you know to hold the made hands 1 pair of Kings or better.

How to play other certain draws are below. Basically hold what is stated below and discard anything else. I’ve tried to keep as simpe as possible and not state the obvious.
